We are currently on a journey to create
The Intelligent Utility — a future of smart grids,
smart cities, smart cars — a more sustainable
way of delivering and using energy every day.

About us

United Energy (UE) and Multinet Gas (MG) provide a safe and reliable energy supply to people across eastern areas of Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula. UE and MG are separate businesses with different boards of directors and ownership structures, however we are managed by the same head office.

While we operate as separate businesses, UE and MG share a common vision. We’re on a journey with our customers, shareholders and other stakeholders to create The Intelligent Utility. We share the same values – safety, accountability, collaboration, communication, empowerment and respect – as our guide on this journey. To learn more about our vision and values, please click here

Our customers and stakeholders have high expectations about the level of service we provide, the focus we maintain on delivering safe and reliable energy supply, the value we deliver for them and the responsiveness we have to their needs, as a community and as individuals.
