United Energy and Multinet Gas own and manage
the distribution network – the poles, wires and
pipes – that deliver electricity and gas to 1.2 million
Victorian gas and electricity customers.

We are separate businesses, with separate boards
of directors and different ownership structures.
However, they are managed and supported
equally by the same head office and office team.

It is through the commitment and efforts of our people
that we will continue to build our reputation. Currently,
we directly employ over 150 people in Victoria and
many more indirectly, via our service providers.

We are currently on a journey to create The Intelligent
Utility - a future of smart grids, smart cities, smart
cars - a more sustainable way of delivering and using
energy every day - a future that excites us.
